My symbol is a potter's wheel because I create people on it out of mud from the Nile.

I am the god of creation. I create people out of silt from the Nile on my potter's wheel. I am also the god of the inundation or yearly flooding of the Nile River.

My wife is Satis and my daughter is Anukis. We were known as the Triad of Elephantine. In some sections of Egypt I am worshipped as Heket's husband.

I influenced Egyptian life because I created the body and spirit of each newborn child. After each child was born I gave them the gift of health.
